Anything at all,
including the unimaginable, can happen in litigation.
With this key idea in mind, the following advice is
rendered:
Confirm all appointments
not only a few days before, but also the day before an
event with our attorney.
Candidly discuss all
matters with our attorney, especially matters
that are not favorable to us.
As soon as you are aware
of a litigation event, begin to prepare:
Assemble all original
documents even remotely associated with the litigation
and make a set of copies. Bring all to the litigation
event. Review those documents before the litigation
event.
Ask questions of key
client personnel or our attorney when something does
not make sense. This may include, but not be limited
to, strange invoicing, lack of documentation, or
unsigned contracts. The adversary will ask those
questions if their attorney is worth anything. If you
are confused, chances are everyone will be confused.
Feel free to call me at TFC
for any reason with any questions. This is especially
true if you are not comfortable with our attorney. We
will take whatever action is necessary, including
obtaining new counsel. We are here as your resource.
